The Brisbane season of Turn Of The Screw for Opera Queensland went extremely well, and I think it is likely that I will return there at some future date for another engagement.

"Two Romantic Tributes" was given its premiere on August the 31st by the Wilderness School senior band under Darryl Pope, Jason Xanthoudakis the alto saxophone soloist. The school kindly flew me over to Adelaide for the event, which went very well. I expect this work to be one of my popular easier pieces.

More recently I have conducted a twentieth-century programme of Australian works with a student ensemble form the Sydney Conservatorium - Sculthorpe, banks and two works by Nigel Butterley, who celebrates his 70th birthday this year.
