Apologies for no December newsletter, due to lack of activity!

My piano CD "Swoon: The Piano Album" was released by ABC Classics in time for Xmas. It is very much aimed at the popular market, all the pieces being drawn from the successful "Swoon" series.

The University of Illinois Symphonic Winds gave the premiere of my "Australian Fantasia" in mid-November, a very fine performance. I believe Southern Music had it available at the Chicago midwest convention. Publication of the work should follow shortly.

Most exciting for me in the past two months was listening and selecting takes for a CD I recorded nearly four years ago with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra. The works played were all by Saint-Saens - the 3rd (organ) Symphony, Danse Macabre and Carnival of the Animals. It is even better than I remembered it, brilliant playing throughout. I hope ABC Classics will release it this year!
