 I write this just before heading to the airport for a few days in Hobart, recording music for a new television series, "Australians At War", with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. There is a new CD added to the list: "Heart Of Fire", music by Ray Marcellino. This was the credits music for the recent Paralympics shown on the ABC. I am busy arranging the New Year fireworks music for wind band, as it will certainly have a performing future in that medium. It will be in four movements which can be played separately or without a break. T he American tour is nearly confirmed in detail! Leaving mid-January, the order of visits is Georgia-Texas-Illinois-Kentucky-Missouri-California. You will have to wait until next month for the schedule - sorry!
